Which radically new programming language concepts has been invented since 1992? To my mind most new languages today seem like buffet plates of features picked from existing languages.
Not many, but it would help if Go at least took some ideas from CLU (1975) and ML (1973), which while considered academic experiences in 1992, by now most mainstream languages have adopted their ideas, with exception of Go.
