Not getting the exact error, but the cert that https://www.moneysoft.com.au is using is not actually for https://www.moneysoft.com.au.

Sorry, getting our app and website mixed up.

Website: http://www.moneysoft.com.au/ App: https://secure.moneysoft.com.au/

What do you mean by "requires?" That disclaimer is the boilerplate iOS disclaimer for enrolling the device for mdm, which is generally useful for pushing profiles for wireless access, vpn, e-mail, etc... I'm not sure what their policy is, but I doubt it is as nefarious as your submission implies.

I think you'll safely get a few years out of the skill set, as even if it starts downhill now IOS has a large footprint. It's also not a bad way to get familiar with objective C, and many of the tools and frameworks can be used for OS X development.

You can quite easily roll your own app that would do this. You could ad hoc install it or build it directly to your phone if you have a developer account. I doubt you'll find one in the app store though, as this "feature" is pretty much prohibited.

That comment seems a little misleading, as does the blog post he made about the issue. They are being praised for being quick to respond and transparent, but that has not been my experience with this particular issue.

Texas at Austin, also has a brand new CS facility opening this week - http://apps.cs.utexas.edu/goto_gdc/
