Casual : Coke (vanilla and Cherry) Late work : Redbull Tired : lemon tea Morning : cold coffee Night : cold water

I started playing Go at 4 with dad and played a while of IGS (the Panda net thing) and got pretty high (around 2D). But felt in love with Starcraft which is for me, GO+Chess and in real time :p

some crazy dude just killed the chat :/ that was so lame. Anw, IRC next time maybe so Op could kick/ban?

(mine: quakenet #elive if you need a free chan)

Because of the guys who decided they would ruin the chat experience for all YC applicants, I modified the chat script, and now log ip addresses, and can simply add naughty people to DENY iptables. It is truly sad, I even had to do this, but, its now in place. :) Sorry about that.

I try to keep only 50 friends max. I use to have like 300+ friends which was totally useless and definitely not good for me because I was always checking every pages, answering comments, chatting etc. but I wasn't "that" connected to my true friends.

hmm: -a goban that I still use sometimes -a water filter for my turtles -an helicopter with Lego and the engine found in the broken typewriter (no, it can't fly BUT the helices turns :D) -a laser gun with the laser found in my DVD driver -my BED ! :D <-most proud and if "art" counts, I've made with folks from my startup this 4-page comics http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5247526/Nouveaux%20soleils.zip !

Applied last week. Wait & see :)

It costs nothing to try, right? But don't apply-gamble to get in Yc quickly, imo. Do your stuff and when you think you are ready, go for it.

You are right - gambling does not make sense here. In the current situation, if I had either the technical co-founder, or demonstrated traction for my app, I would have been far more confident of my YC application.

First, we put the Russian Anthem in the office to motivate everyone (it really works ahah) Then, everyone listens to their own stuff on PC. I'm now fan of Chinese pop songs! The lyrics are super-lame but it makes me full of joy ahah

We are actually repositioning eLive as eDole: the first social Karaoke webservice. Imagine: you just have the largest music catalog for cover songs EVER : Youtube :D And the subtitles thing is definitely a good point. Thanks so much folks !

Perhaps you could take it one step further from karaoke and put an American Idol spin on it. Competitions, prizes, Internet fame. If you could somehow pull in a celebrity partner or sponsor, this could become an even greater possibility.

LOL, this is what we talked just an hour ago with my CTO! I'm happy one of you guys raised this up, makes me more confident :) eDole or eDol is a good name :p

mea culpa. :(
